As many of you know, I have a serious addiction to Dark Chocolate and now the research and evidence is backing up what I must have known all along for years. Dark Chocolate is an excellent anti-oxidant and helps prevent heart attack and stroke. The good news is that is tastes great too!
How about a nice cup of cocoa before bed? Well, if you’re a woman over 70, it’s just the thing to help prevent a heart attack. That’s right, there’s another good reason to have some chocolate every day, a new study found that (1) serving each day helped prevent heart attack. The good news is that you don’t need to eat a lot, a little goes a long way.
If you’re like me and have a chocolate monkey on your back and are hopelessly addicted to dark chocolate, this makes perfect sense. If you’re thinking that this is a little scary and sounds like someone who needs professional help, all I can say is that there’s evidence now that chocolate is not only a great anti-oxidant, it also helps keep your heart healthy.
