I just made a batch of dark chocolate chip cookies for my son and a few of his friends, who wolfed them down in a few nanoseconds. Little did these boys from the band’s drum line realize that the chocolate they were enjoying was actually having a protective effect on their hearts and blood vessels. As you know, I’m addicted to dark chocolate and will post any and all evidence that it’s a healthy choice (in moderation, of course).
This is so good and so good for you! It’s delicious and difficult to stop eating, and yet so easy to make. This bark is a crowd pleaser, that never fails and it’s dark chocolate full of healthy cranberries and pistachios.

How about a nice cup of cocoa before bed? Well, if you’re a woman over 70, it’s just the thing to help prevent a heart attack. That’s right, there’s another good reason to have some chocolate every day, a new study found that (1) serving each day helped prevent heart attack. The good news is that you don’t need to eat a lot, a little goes a long way.
If you’re like me and have a chocolate monkey on your back and are hopelessly addicted to dark chocolate, this makes perfect sense. If you’re thinking that this is a little scary and sounds like someone who needs professional help, all I can say is that there’s evidence now that chocolate is not only a great anti-oxidant, it also helps keep your heart healthy.
